ADAM MIKAELIAN
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
That background makes me a seamless collaborator with production companies, agencies, brands, or in-house teams—at any stage of a project. Whether working from treatments, storyboards, shot lists, or being dropped into a shoot last minute, I’m quick to adapt, get up to speed, and make things happen.
My cinematography style is a refined, docu-style look with unique framing and just the right movement. I take a natural approach to lighting and compose shots that not only enhance the moment but also flow seamlessly in the edit.
The projects that fire me up are the ones with purpose—stories about people, communities, organizations, or brands working toward positive impact, systemic change, and a better future for both people and the planet.
I’m always up for an adventure—whether it’s skiing with a camera in hand or bootpacking up a mountain to get the perfect shot. I’ve schlepped camera gear to more places than I can remember; Iceland, Ecuador, China, Spain, France, England, and a few cruise ships in the Caribbean. No matter the location, it really is the people that make the experience. I love collaborating with talented, good-energy folks.
And when the shoot is wrapped, you’ll walk away confident that we captured the moments that matter—and had a damn good time doing it. I'm also happy to provide direction for the edit and final color correction to make sure you get exactly what you came for.

I'm a commercial and documentary DP with an editor’s eye, who helps directors, creatives, and producers elevate their vision through dynamic, intimate cinematography.
I started my career as an editor at Arnold Worldwide, where I learned firsthand how the creative process works—and what directors and creatives really need in the edit room to bring a story to life.
